Cornwall is a peninsula at the south-western tip of Britain. - Road - Talland Bay is most easily accessible by car. It is signposted at two junctions on the A387 Looe to Polperro road, one about 1 mile west of Looe, the other at Barcelona, near the junction of the A387 and B3359 (Pelynt) roads which is about 2 miles east of Polperro
- Bus - There are no bus services to the bay - the closest service being the Polperro-Looe-Plymouth service which runs on the main Looe-Polperro road (A387) about 1.5 miles away.
- Rail - The nearest railway station is at Looe which has a picturesque local line (the Looe Valley Line) which links up with the main Penzance-Plymouth-London line at Liskeard. From Looe the alternatives to Talland are taxi or walking (walking not advised - 3 miles, steep, narrow lanes, risk from traffic).
- Walking - The Cornish Coastal Path passes through Talland Bay and is the best way to see this beautiful bay.
